Measurement Evaluation
Examples of Good Pictures for Measurement Evaluation

A good, level "straight-on" side view is most important, and keep in mind that we need to see the entire dog's body in the side-view picture.
NOTE: The “A” measurement is taken at the top of the scapula, i.e. shoulder blades. Place a ruler at the highest point of your pet’s back at the base of the neck and feel the “points” of the dog’s shoulder blades.
Make sure that your clipboards are perpendicular, straight up and down, and just barely touching the dog’s body.
