I’m not esaliy impressed. . . but that’s impressing me!
My Boots has been in an Eddie’s Wheels
cart for 4 yrs. He is now 11 yrs old and still keeps up with our other dog (litter mates). They are Corgi mixes. We are so thankful for Eddie’s Wheels for allowing our pup to be a happy dog!
Barbara,
My Papillion, Radar, has just gotten his wheels. He ruptured a disk and we are still hoping for good surgery results. But in the mean time… would you mind a question? Does your dog ever rest/nap/sleep while wearing his wheels? All the pictures show the active dogs and Radar is good at that part. Then he gets tired… Do you leave the wheels off most of the time? or do they learn to sleep during the day, wearing them? Can’t find an answer and am hoping maybe you can help.
Thanks! and thanks for posting.
Dogs don’t sleep standing up like horses, so they should be in the cart for active times of the day. It’s easy enough to take him out of the cart when he gets tired and wants to lie down. Some small dogs, like dachshunds, do roll over to their beds and snooze in their wheels with their front legs propped up on their beds, but most dogs with long legs prefer to curl up in a little ball to sleep.
