Tahki

Hi Ed and Leslie,

Thanks so much for getting Tahki's wheels to her so quickly. She really learned to use and enjoy them this weekend, and we haven't seen such a happy grin on her face since she lost the use of her hind legs nearly two weeks ago.

She got the hang of travelling outdoors first, and had her first great walk since March 24th. Three-point turns were next, and now she can get around the house with very few hangups. When she does misjudge a turn, she just backs up and tries again a little wider. We were really happy when her friend (a big black lab named Brogar) came to visit, and she managed to do her traditional, flirty
greeting dance in the cart!

Thanks for making her a happy girl again! By the way, the wheels arrived on her 15th birthday.
